Description

Copy of a Release by Henry Roberts of Stratford-upon-Avon, esquire to Henry Eyres Landor, of the Mansion House in Alveston with appurtenances and two Pews in Alveston Church, a close called the Paddock containing 28 acres, another close called Mill Meadow on the West of the Paddock containing 18 acres late in the possession of Henry Venour, also the water corn mill, 2 pieces of land called Dennys containing 6 acres, 1 rood and 11 perches, Mill Lane, 2 parcels of land called the Hurst and the Home containing together 4a-2r-32p lying near to the Mill, a Farmhouse and lands described in (ER3/3016) containing 277 acres and another messuage and Farm commonly called Crofts Farm, also a cottage garden and workshop and osier plantations and irhgt of fishing in the River Avon, to secure £3000 and interest.
