Agreement to Grant a Lease: Ansley


Agreement between John [Newdigate] Ludford of Ansley Hall, esquire and William Cheshire of Ansley, farmer whereby John Ludford covenanted to grant a Lease of a messuage and farm called Ironwoode Lea Farm and 103 acres of arable meadow and pasture land also another messuage and 36 acres then in the tenure of the said William Cheshire, for a term of one year from the 25th March then next ensuing and from year to year at a yearly rent of £100.
