Agreement to Grant a Lease: Ansley

Description

Agreement between John [Newdigate] Ludford of Ansley Hall, esquire LL.D. and John Wagstaff of Ansley, farmer whereby John Ludford covenanted to grant a Lease of a Messuage called Ox Hayes House and 176 acres of arable meadow and pasture usually let with the said messuage also 46 acres then in the tenure of John Wagstaff in Ansley, to John Wagstaff for a term of one year from the 25th March then next ensuing and from year to year at a yearly rent of £180.
