Draft of the Will of the Honourable Louisa Barnard, theretofore of Lighthorne but then of Alveston, widow Reciting that her late husband the Reverend Robert Barnard by his Will dated the 22nd. July 1828 devised certain hereditaments in Alveston to such uses and Trusts as the said Louisa Barnard should appoint by her Will and in default of appointment to the use of her the said Louisa for her life with remainder to the use of his daughter Louisa for her life with remainder to her children it was witnessed that she the said Louisa Barnard appointed all the hereditamentss under her husband's will, to the use of Louisa Townsend for her life with remainder over to Joseph Townsend for his life and to Henry Townsend only son of the said Joseph and Louisa Townsend and the heirs of his body with remainders over, and she bequeathed £5000 to her daughter Louisa Townsend and the residue of her personal estate to her said daughter Louisa Townsend and her son Robert John Barnard in equal shares and also appointed her said son Robert John Barnard and her son in law Joseph Townsend her Executors. Instructions dated the 8th. March 1834 for the above Will.
