Conveyance by Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 22nd October 1705 by John Morris of Whitley in the Parish of Wootten Wawen, yeoman to Christopher Baker of Henley-in-Arden, tanner, of 60 acres of arable meadow and pasture in the three common fields of Whitley called Whitley Field, Sandy Field and Pereford Field in consideration of £300 paid by Christopher Baker. Signed: John Morris. Seal of red wax impression a fleur de lys. Witnesses: Francis Baker, Henry Lane and William Yates. Lease dated the 19th October 1705 by John Morris to Christopher Baker of the same premises for six months. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before. Also Receipt dated the 28th December 1705 by William Holyoak to Christopher Baker for £60-15-0 in part payment of the mortgage created by ER3/3188-3189. Also a Release dated the 12th April 1706 by Thomas Berkeley of Spetchley, Worcs., executor of the Will of his late Father in Law John Holyoak of Morton Bagott, deceased to Christopher Baker for the monies owing under the mortgage created by ER3/3188-3189.
