Lease and Release: Halloughton in Kingsbury and Nether Whitacre, Kenilworth and Coventry

Indentures of Lease and Release (with counterpart Lease) between Diana Molyneux of Bath, co. Somerset, spinster, Thomas Bury of Colleton, co. Devon, esq. and Mary Elizabeth, his wife, late Mary Elizabeth Molyneux, spinster (which said Diana Molyneux and Mary Elizabeth Molyneux were the two daughters and co-heiresses of Mary Molyneux late of Albemarle Street in the parish of St. George, Hanover Square, co. Middx., widow, deceased) of the first part, Alexander Whitchurch late of the parish of St. Bennett Fink, but then of Brewers Hall, London, gent. of the second part, John Plumptre of Nottingham, esq., executor of the will of Mary Molyneux of the third part, and John Bird late of Coventry but then of Kenilworth of the fourth part (reciting ER3/2218, ER3/2219-2220 and ER3/2222-2223 and the death of Mary Molyneux on 26 July 1752 and that the two mortgage sums of £800 and £1100 were still owing) whereby it was witnessed that John Plumptre, in consideration of £1900 to him paid by John Bird in satisfaction of the two mortgages referred to above, and Diana Molyneux, Thomas Bury, Mary Elizabeth his wife, and Alexander Whitchurch, in consideration of five shillings to them paid by John Bird, reconveyed the property in Halloughton, Kenilworth and Coventry to John Bird freed from all mortgages etc. Witnesses: N. Glover of Wispington, co. Lincs., Richard Harvey of Barfreston, co. Kent, Thomas Cater and A. Leavey.
