Mortgage: Upper Quinton and Lower Quinton
Description
Mortgage by Thomas Walford and Edward Walford of Quinton gentlemen (two of the sons, devisees, legatees and executors of the Will of Edward Walford theretofore of Quinton deceased) to William Harrison of Halford gentleman of the hereditaments described in ER3/3215 by assignment of the residue of the term of 20 years in the premises created by ER3/3215 subject to a proviso for redemption upon re-payment of £500. Signed: Thomas Walford and Edward Walford. Seals of red wax. Witnesses: William Manning, servant to Mr. Harrison, and John Edkins. Endorsed with a memorandum dated the 18th January 1791 to the effect that John Smith and John Higgins, Trustees of the said William Harrison assigned the said Mortgage to Elizabeth Harrison in satisfaction of a legacy of £500 left to her by the Will of William Harrison, her father.
