Copy of Administration (3 January 1747) with Will (4 December 1724) and Codicils annexed of Robert Pigott of Chetwind [Chetwynd], Salop., esquire. Devise of hereditaments in Salop to his eldest son and his other hereditaments in the Counties of Warwick, Northants., Huntingdon and Cambridge to his son-in-law Richard Lyster. esquire, John Raby, Sergeant at Law, Driden Pigott, Testator's brother and Francis Skrimsher, Rector of Chetwind, upon certain Trusts. Mentions his son, Robert Pigott and Frances, the wife of his son Robert, his second son, John Pigott, his younger sons, Thomas, William and Benjamin, his daughters, Frances and Honour, his daughter, Lyster (wife of Richard Lyster?), Francis Pigott of Chetwind, Thomas Pigott of Doddeshall, deceased. Witnesses: John Sergeant, Thomas Greenfield and Thomas Keeling. Codicil dated 3rd January 1733 stating that Testator's daughter Honour had married John Harvey esquire. Witnesses: Elizabeth Bird, Thomas Lemon and Robert Arris. Codicil dated the 26th June 1742 concerning lagacy to Testator's daughter Frances. Witnesses: Ann Stephens, Elizabeth Bird and Jas. Digby. Proved at Canterbury the 3rd January 1747 by Robert Pigott,son of the Testator.
