Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 24th September 1706 by Elizabeth Gravener of Coventry, spinster (one of the daughters and co-heiresses of Henry Gravener of Coventry, threadmaker by Grace his wife deceased, which Grace was a daughter of Abraham Drew of Bulkington, yeoman by Grace his wife both deceased, which Grace Drew was a daughter of John Whitehead and Joane his wife both deceased, which Joane was a daughter of Richard Bishopp theretofore of Berkswell, gentleman deceased) to John Adkins of Berkswell, yeoman, of all her interest, title or claim which she might have or thereafter have in a messuage and farm called Naylecott [Nailcote] Farm and a meadow called Sherrington's in the Parish of Berkswell. Signed: Elizabeth Gravener. Seal of red wax a lion rampant. Witnesses: Henry Gravener, J. Cater, John Whitehead and S. Cox Lease dated the 23rd September 1706 by Elizabeth Gravener to John Adkins of the same premises for one year. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
