Description

Partition by Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 20th August 1774, by Samuel Cleaver of Leamington Hastings, grazier and Henry Cleaver of Kites Hardwick, grazier to Thomas Cooper of Leamington Hastings and William Cleaver of Kites Hardwick, graziers, of the premises referred to in ER3/3248-3249 as to and concerning the capital messuage and closes called Round Meadow (6 acres, 0 roods and 4 perches), Chappel Ground (102a-2r-20p), Long Meadow (8a-0r-27p), the Pingle (1a-2r-15p) and the tithes of the same and as to and concerning an eighth part of the Manor of Radbourn and Advowson to the use of Samuel Cleaver and his heirs for ever and as to and concerning the closes called Millfield (89a-3r-32p), Corn Close (7a-2r-33p), Willford (31a-2r-28p), the Pingle (2a-1r-7p), the Lesser Pingle (1a-1r-21p) and the tithes thereon also one eighth of the Manor of Radbourn and Advowson to the use of Henry Cleaver and his heirs. And the said Samuel Cleaver paid to the said Henry Cleaver £536-5-0 in respect of the difference of the value of the said lands partitioned. Signed: Samuel Cleaver and Henry Cleaver. Seals of red wax. Witnesses: J. B. Harrison and Edward Lamb. Lease dated the 19th August 1774 by Samuel and Henry Cleaver to John Cooper and William Cleaver of the same premises for one year.
