Grant of Premises: Radbourne

Description

Indenture of Grant between Samuel Cleaver of Leamington Hastings, grazier of the first part, Henry Cleaver of Kites Hardwick, grazier of the second part, Robert Pigott of Chetwyn, Salop., esquire of the third part, and Thomas Morris of Chetwyn, gentleman of the fourth part. Reciting the sale of hereditaments in ER3/3248-3249 and that upon the treaty made previous thereto it was agreed that the premises should thereafter be free of tithes and to indemnify the said Samuel and Henry Cleaver against any liability to payment tithes they should each retain £250 of the purchase money and in consideration thereof should each of them grant to Robert Pigott a rent charge of the premises of £10 per annum. It was thereby witnessed that in pursuance of the said agreement both the said Samuel Cleaver and Henry Cleaver at the direction of Robert Pigott granted to Thomas Harris and his heirs an undivided moiety or half part of the premises described in ER3/3248-3249 to the use that Robert Pigott and his heirs should receive in respect of each moiety an annual rent charge of £10.
