Release: Broadway

Description

Release by Robert Constable, Gray's Inn and Roger Belwood, Middle Temple of the first part and William Thompson, Middle Temple, esquire of the second part to Thomas Savage of Broadway, gentleman. Recites Indentures 24th July 1672 [ER3/3313], the Will of John Stephens the younger 8th November 1677 [ER3/3314], Indenture 9th. June 1679 [ER3/3315] and Lease of 21st May 1683 [ER3/3323] and declares that for the sums of 10/- and £600 paid by Thomas Savage, they grant release and confirm to him and his heirs for ever the said closes of meadow, pasture ground and premises mentioned in the last indenture. Signed by Robert Constable, R. Belwood and W. Thomson. Seals lost. Witnesses to the signatures of Robert Constable and William Thomson: Walter Savage and Henry Headley. Witnesses to the signature of Roger Belwood: Walter Savage, Henry Headley and John Comins. Endorsed with an acknowledgment by W. Thomson that he had received £600 from Thomas Savage on 22nd May 1683. Witnessed by Walter Savage and Henry Headley.
