Description

Will of Walter Savage of Broadway, esquire whereas Richard Skip of Dennington, Herefordshire, gentleman and Richard Freeman late of the Middle Temple, London, esquire or one of them their Executors etc. are interested in a term of 500 years of divers mills meadows and pasture ground lying and being in Broadway upon trust for raising £1000 to be disposed of among my younger children in such manner as I shall direct - my will is that the said sum of £1000 be divided between my daughters Ann and Sarah equally to be paid to each of them within 6 months after the decease of mentioned and my loving wife Sarah or the survivor of us - as to my personal estate my just debts being first paid I give theretofore same to my loving wife Sarah Savage and my loving son Walter Savage equally to be divided between them - appoints said wife Sarah and son Walter joint executors. Signed and sealed 14th day of August 1712. Witnesses: John Stone, William Clarke and Sol. Sheldon. Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 23rd June 1713 by Sarah and Walter Savage. Endorsed by J. O. Halliwell-Phillipps 'Middlehill Estate'.
