Extracts from deeds of 1561 concerning the conveyance of the manor of Stoneleigh from William Candishe, esq., to Sir Rowland Hill and Sir Thomas Leigh, (with the farm called Crofts in Lincolnshire as security) and of 1545 concerning the conveyance of Fletchamstead from Henry VIII to John Beaumount.
