Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 31st December 1765 between the Right Honourable George William, Earl of Coventry of one part and Charles Colmore of Idlicott, esquire of the other part whereby the said Earl conveyed to Charles Colmore parcels containing 5 acres, 3 roods and 21 perches situate in the Common Fields in exchange for land messuage and appurtenances then in the occupation of Thomas Scudamore, also Burmans Close conveyed by Charles Colmore to the said Earl made in pursuance of the Inclosure Act of 5 George III. Signed: Charles Colmore. Seal, a Grecian's head. Witnesses: Jno. James and Henry Quantock. Lease dated 30th December 1765 for one year between the same parties of the same property. Signed, sealed and witnessed as in Release.
