Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 10th February 1810 between Richard Williams of Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex, gentleman of the 1st part, the Right Honourable George, Earl of Coventry of the 2nd part and Thomas Graham of Lincoln's Inn aforesaid, esquire of the 3rd part. Reciting an Indenture dated 20th July 1802 whereby Lord Deerhurst mortgaged property described in DR38/99-100 to Richard Williams for £8000. It was witnessed that the said Richard Williams in consideration of £8000 paid to him by the said Earl re-conveyed the property to the said Thomas Graham to the use of such persons, and for such estates and interests, as the said Earl should by deed or Will appoint. Remainder to the use of Thomas Graham during the life of the said Earl to the intent that the present and any future wife of the said Earl might be barred from dower, remainder to the use of the Earl and his heirs for ever. Signed: Richard Williams. Seal, a man's head. Witnesses: George Kinderley and Edward Alderson of 6, Lincoln's Inn. Lease dated 9th February 1810 Richard Williams to Thomas Graham of the same property for one year. Signed as before. Seal, a crest. Witnessed as before.
