Description

Gift with warranty from Gilbert Fremon of Toneword to Nicholas Trages, clerk, of a messuage in Budecrofta which Aldit the wife of Godwin the reeve held, and a certain piece of land enclosed by a hedge, namely from the hedge of Richard Kide to the road extending towards Nortonam [King's Norton] and thence to the hedge of the said Richard Kide; to hold the same rendering annually 4 pence; and for this the said Nicholas gives 2 shillings. Witnesses: Roger parson of Toneword, William Archer, Henry de Ulenhale, Ranulf 'palmario', Henry de la Leia, Ranulf de Cravenhale, Ralph Bretun and many others.
