Description

Gift with warranty from Henry de Hulehale to William Archer of all that land called Loncroft with a meadow and other appurtenances in Taneworthe, namely that land which lies betwen the land which Robert Archer held and the land which Richard Slod held and between the ditch (sichet) which descends from Wodewelle and the land which Robert Bled held of Robert Archer, and thence descending to the road leading to Luttelgroveshei and thence to the land which Richard de Slod held of the grantor; to hold the same rendering annually 12 pence (2 terms); and for this the said William gives half a mark. Witnesses: Robert Thin (magro) steward, Henry de Tobbenei, Roger the parson (persona), Henry de la Le, Randolf 'palmerio', Randolf de Stodlei, Herbert Dolfin, Ralph de Lea and others.
