Description

Gift from Henry, vicar of the church of Toneworth', and Thomas de Fullewode of the same, to John, son of John de Fullewode, and Matilda his wife of Toneworth' of all the lands and tenements which the grantor held by gift and feoffment of the said John in Toneworth' on the day of making this charter, except one field called le Newelond' lying next to the road towards Simon le Reue as it is defined bu its boundaries; to hold from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Toneworth', Sunday on the feast of St Mark and St Marcellianus, 37 Edward III. No tag or seal, unexecuted. Endorsed: [early 16th cent] c.
