Description

Demise with warranty from Simon atte Heeth' of Thoneworth' to Emma, Alice and Joan his daughters of a grange called Le Cernberne with a curtilage adjoining, reaching as far as Gatelone, and a field called Le Newlond in Thoneworth'; to hold the same for the lives of the lives of the said Emma, Alice and Joan rendering annually one rose at the feast of St John the Baptist; and should one of the daughters marry during that time, then her share to be divided between her two sisters. Witnesses: Henry de Sydenhale, John Broun, Henry Waters, William Salemon, Walter de Swanesdich' and others. Dated at Thoneworth', Sunday next before the feast of St Mark, 10 Edward III.
