Gift with warranty from Thomas Archer of Toneworth' to Richard Bromley and Roger Tangeley of the manor of Toneworth' and all lands, tenements, rents, reversions, services, meadows, woods, pastures, moors, coneys and all liberties in Toneworth'; to hold from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary services. Dated at Toneworth', Thursday after the feast of SS Fabian and Sebastian the martyrs, 40 Edward III. Witnesses: Sir Henry de Ardene, Sir William Breton' knights, John Fullwode, Richard Gower, Thomas atte Berne and others. Circular seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 in, within a circular decorated border a shield of arms, a chevron between 3 birds.
