Description

Demise for 12 years with warranty from William Cok' of Norton' Kyng' to Henry Dolfyn of Toneworth' of a cottage in Toneworth' extending in length from the land of Richard Ernalt as far as the land of Thomas de Sidunhale and in breadth between the land of the said Richard on the one hand and the highway leading from the house of William de Folewode towards the church of Toneworth' on the other; to hold the said cottage and adjacent curtilage from the said William for the term of 12 years beginning on the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary 33 Edward III. Rendering annually due and customary service to the chief lords of the fee; the said Henry to build a house at his own cost within the said cottage during the said term, and the said William agreed that if the said cottage and curtilage were given to any other person during or after the said term, the said Henry and his heirs should hold [ the said house] for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, rendering annually to the said William and his heirs the same as they would have given for the said cottage and curtilage.
