Description

Lease for the life of the lessee with warranty from John de Crowenhale' of Thoneworth' to Thomas le Archer of Thoneworth' of all his pasture land at Oldcrowunhal' in Thoneworth' excepting a croft with a grove and moor within the said croft held by Ncholas Carpunt'; to hold the said pasture with meadows adjacent to the same together with the waterstream within the said pasture and meadows, excepting the millpond and the said croft for the term of his life with entrance and exit of the same, rendering annually to the said John 32 shillings for the first four years [ 2 terms] ; and after the first four years rendering the annual rent of 100 shillings [2 terms]; the said John to have right of distraint if the said rent was in arrears or unpaid for six weeks after any of the said terms. Dated at Thoneworth', on the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 2 Richard II.
