Tanworth, Nuthurst deeds: Archer of Tanworth

Description

Gift from William son of Richard de Folewode of Toneworth' and Margaret his wife to Richard de Stanewey, parson of the church of Weston super Avene of all their lands and tenements, with meadows, pastures etc. in Toneworth' and Notehurst' with all the rents and services which they have in the said vills; to hold the same of the chief of the lord of the fee rendering annually to the grantor £20 ( 2 terms). Witnesses: John Larcher, John de Barton', Henry de Sydenhale, John de Middelmor, William de Sheldon' and others. Dated at Toneworth', Saturday on the eve of Easter, 12 Edward III. Two circular, white seals on tags, both defaced. Endorsed: Carta Ricardi de Staneway parsone ecclesie de Weston' facta per Willelmum filium Ricardi de Fulwode de omnibus terries et tenementis etc. in Tonworth percipiend de predicto Ricardo et heredibus suis sibi et heredibus suis xx libras ad terminus usuales etc. anno Edwardi tercii xii Latin , parchement 9.5 x 4.5 ins.
