Description

Lease for the life of the lessee with warranty from Thomas Larcher of Toneworth' to Thomas atte Berne of Toneworth' of a close of land, meadow and pasture called le Archersnewelond' Toneworth' as it is enclosed by hedges and ditches; to hold for the life of the said Thomas atte Berne rendering for the first year's rent one rose on the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, 4 marks for the second years rent, and after the third year 20 marks for every year that the said Thomas atte Berne held the said land. Dated at Toneworth', on the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 4 Richard II. Witnesses: John Folewode, Henry Sydunhal', John Croweleye, John atte Lee, Thomas Colyns and others.
