Description

Queen Anne's Bounty was a fund administered to augment the living of the clergy. These papers deal with the purchase of land for the Bishopton of Stratford upon Avon and include the Articles of Purchase for 34 acres of land at Clopton in the Parish of Old Stratford for the sum of £850. The Bounty was administered by the Reverend Dr Davenport.
