Draft deeds and papers relating to 12 Warwick Road and garden ground behind and near Warwick Road, Stratford-upon-Avon: All from or with consent of Stratford-upon-Avon Charity Trustees. 18 September 1880: Assignment for £1600 from William Albert Hobbes, solicitor, William James Warrilow, gent., and John James Nason, M.B., all of Stratford-upon-Avon, executors of Robert Hiorne Hobbes, to Frederic Kendall, Bishopton, Old Stratford, of house, stable, coach house yard and gardens in Old Stratford, fronting the Warwick Road, with adjacent garden ground. Recitals from 1832. 1 October 1881: Measurement by Joseph Lattimer, surveyor, of garden land near the Warwick Road, 'proposed to be let to Mr Butcher and Mr Timms respectively' 27 October: Agreement with John William Butcher, Stratford-upon-Avon, nurseryman, for the yearly tenancy of piece of garden ground lying between Warwick and Maidenhead Roads, at £15pa. Plan. 27 October 1881: Draft and counterpart lease to Frederic Kendall, chemist, of a piece of garden ground behind premises on Warwick Road, the lease of one of which premises is vested in said Frederic Kendall, for 14 years at £8 p.a. 1 June 1885: Draft and counterpart lease for 11 years at £12 10s p.a. from Stratford-upon-Avon Charity Trustees to Mrs Mary Kendall, Stratford-upon-Avon, widow, Walter Benger Kendall, Dorchester, Dorset, surgeon, Francis Henry Kendall, Liverpool, gent., and George Frederic Kendall, Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., (executors of the will Frederic Kendall, late of Stratford-upon-Avon), of a piece of garden ground behind premises on Warwick Road, the lease of one of which premises is vested in said Mary Kendall. Plan. 31 October 1895: Further lease of the above ground for 14 years at £14 p.a..15 September 1904: Copy draft assignment by the executors of the will of Frederic Kendall to Edward Albert Parkhouse, Stratford-upon-Avon. draper, of messuage known as 'The Hollies', Warwick Road [no.12] for £1681 19s 2d. 3 November 1904: Consent from Stratford-upon-Avon Charity Trustees to Edward Albert Parkhouse, Stratford-upon-Avon, draper, to grant a lease for thirty years, of house garden and premises on Warwick Road, held by him under leases dated 1 September 1882 and 31 October 1895, to Louisa Elizabeth Smith, Stratford-upon-Avon, spinster.
