Probates of the wills of Thomas Hiron and Laurence Archer Hiron 14 March 1890: Probate of the will, 15 November 1888, of Thomas Hiron, Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., appointing as executors and trustees his brother, Laurence Archer Hiron, Transvaal, South Africa, Joseph Albert Burke, Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., and William Albert Hobbes, Stratford-upon-Avon. solicitor. Bequests of money and silver, family portraits c. to brother Laurence Archer Hiron and sisters Alicia Fitzherbert Wentworth and Mary Ellen Pratt. Residue of real and personal estate to trustees to sell and pay one third to brother Laurence Archer Hiron. Each of remaining two thirds to be invested for benefit of sisters for life, with remainder to their surviving children equally at 21.. If residuary estate amounts to more than £3000, then £50 to each of testators remaining siblings: Francis Edward Hiron, Hubert George Hiron, Catherine Ann Salomon and Lily Octavia Hitchcocks. Testator died 13 August 1889. 28 September 1894: Probate of the will, 24 June 1892, of Laurence Archer Hiron, Barberton, Republic of South Africa, transport rider, bequeath all real and personal estate to May Wentworth, daughter of Norman King Wentworth, Great Bedwyn, near Hungerford, Berkshire, England. Appoints William Albert Hobbes, Stratford-upon-Avon, solicitor as executor, with Alfred John Blake, Barberton ,Collector of Customs, as joint executor if testator dies possessed of any estate in South Africa. Testator died in South Africa 27 April 1893
