Settlement as to jointure between Thomas Mason of Stratford upon Avon on the first part and Mary Mason, Robert Hunt of Feckenham, Worcestershire, gentleman (late Mary Mason, neice and heiress at law of Simon Hall, late of Droitwich, deceased, which Simon Hunt survived Robert Hunt late of Feckenham which Simon and Robert were trustees of the will of Thomas Mason formerly of the Inner Temple, London. On the second part and Cathering Wright of Claybrook Magna, Leicestershire, spinster and daughter of John right of the same place, gentleman. Settlement of the estate in Leicestershire at £1000 to be paid within three months of the marriage, reciting the will of Thomas Mason the elder, deceased who died without issue of John Mason his kinsman and divisee in 1761. In consideration of the marriage certain estates of John Wright are settled to the value of £1000 including a messuage and garden, orchard., barn and stables in Stratford upon Avon, Langley or Clopton Grounds being thirty two acres, allotments granted to Thomas Mason by the late enclosure act amounting to thirty acres on the Alcester Road and two acres on the Birmingham Road.
