Description

Gift from William Elys, vicar of the church of Toneworth' and Thomas Bray of Ippusley to John Fullewod' of Toneworth' the elder of lands and tenements with houses, meadows, moors, woods, pastures, and feedings in Toneworth' which formerly belonged to Robert de Sydenhale and which the grantors held by gift and feoffment of the said John Fullewod'; to hold for the term of his life from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service and after his death to pass to John Fullewod' of Toneworth' the younger and Matilda his wife and their lawful issue, or in default of such issue to the rightful heirs of the said John Fullewod' the elder for ever. Dated at Toneworth', Monday after the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 8 Henry V.
