Description

Gift from William Brokhurst of Hulueley [ Ulverley Green in Solihull] and John Middelmore of Solihull' to John Notehurst of Solihull' of all lands and tenements with meadows, woods, pastures, feedings, hedges and ditches, excepting one field called Newelond', which lands the grantors held by gift and feoffment of the said John Notehurst; to hold for the term of his life without any impediment or waste from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service and after the death of the said John Notehurst to pass to Thomas Notehurst and Alice his wife and their lawful issue, or in default of such issue to revert to the rightful heirs of the said John Notehurst for ever. Dated at Toneworthe on the vigil of St Thomas the Apostle, 1 Henry VI.
