Description

Gift with warranty from Simon son of Nicholas de Swannesdich' of Thanworth' to Henry de Sidenhale of a piece of land which the grantor had by the demise of Geoffrey le Fleccher, saving two houses built there; also all the tenement in two adjacent crofts lying between the field of the said Henry and the road leading towards the church of Thaneworth'; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. The said Simon also grants to the said Henry the reversionary interest, pertaining to him and Amicia his wife, in a third part of two acres and one rood of land in the same crofts which Agnes widow of Geoffrey le Fleccher holds in dower and which should descend to the grantor and his wife after her death. Witnesses: Richard Wystan, Roger Gerin, Richard Gerin, Henry de Yerdeleye, Thomas du Val, Geoffrey de Widenhay and others. Seal on tag, circular, white, defaced.
