Description

Quitclaim from William son of Simon Abel of Toneworthe to John atte Hethe of the same of all his right in all those lands and tenements which belonged to Simon his father in Toneworth', together with an annual rent of 1 penny in Solihulle paid to the grantor by Robert de Blithe; moreover, whereas in an agreement between Henry son of Henry de Sydenhale and the said William it was stated that the said tenements should remain charged to the grantor with an annual rent of six strikes of corn, six of rye, eight of maslin and two of oats, the grantor now entirely remits this charge. Witnesses: Robert le Notte chaplain, William atte Birches, William de Sydenhale, John Tyberan and others. Dated at Solihulle on the eve of St Thomas the Apostle, 18 Edward II.
