Description

Gift and confirmation with warranty from Robert de Ollenhale son and heir of William de Ollenhale to John le Archer of Thaneworth' and Margery his wife of all the tenement which the grantor or any of his ancestors held in Moneckespath' in Thaneworth' with all free tenants, homages, wardships, reliefs, and suits of court etc. together with the dower which Margery widow of William the grantor's father held in the said vill; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee for due and customary service; and for this the said John and Margery give 60 marks. Witnesses: Henry de Sidenhal', Richard de Folewode, John Wodart, Simon le Archer, Henry Warner, Thomas de la Lee, Thomas Durvashal, William de Belne, Roger Gerin, Walter Broun and many others. Dated at Monekespath', Sunday next after the feast of St James 25 Edward I. Seal on tag, circular, green, imperfect. A ram's head.
