Description

Gift with warranty from Simon le Archer of Toneworth' to Walter de Barewe of the same of 11 selions of land with the wood growing thereon in the said vill, of which 10 selions lie in breadth between the land of John Gilberd on both sides and extend in length from the road, leading from the house of John le Archer towards the church of Toneworth', as far as the field called Carsewellemedwe; and the other selion lies in breadth between the land of the said Simon on both sides and extends in length from a stream next to Acresmedewe as far as the land of John Broun. For this the said William gives to the said Simon in exchange 8 selions of land a gore in the common field called Whetedich, of which 6 selions and the gore lie in width between the land of the said Simon on both sides and the land late of Ranulph de Havekeschawe, extending in length from the meadow called Acresmedwe as far as the land called Stockynge; and two selions lie in another part (stadio) in the said field in width between the land of John le Archer and the land of John Broun; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee.
