For this the said William gives to the said Simon in exchange 8 selions of land a gore in the common field called Whetedich, of which 6 selions and the gore lie in width between the land of the said Simon on both sides and the land late of Ranulph de Havekeschawe, extending in length from the meadow called Acresmedwe as far as the land called Stockynge; and two selions lie in another part (stadio) in the said field in width between the land of John le Archer and the land of John Broun; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee.
