Description

Indenture dated 3rd May 1884 between George Bullivant of Wootton Wawen miller and Thomas Hutchins of Snitterfield groom of the 1st part, William Scrubey the younger of Wasperton carpenter of the 2nd part, William Henry Scrubey a Private in the 5th Lancers of the 3rd part and Robert Needham Philips of Welcombe M. P. of the 4th part whereby a messuage and shop at Snitterfield formerly in the occupation of William Scrubey the elder was conveyed by the persons of the 1st part (Trustees under the Will of William Scrubey), William Scrubey as tenant for life of the premises and William Henry Scrubey (eldest son of John, grandson of William Scrubey the elder) to Robert Needham Philips for £70 paid to both William Scrubey and William Henry Scrubey (making £140 in all).
