Description

Lease for 20 years from Richard Archer' esquire to Stephen Rowlowe of the manor of appley with one tenement, any maner of reparacon', the orchard, the Hardeforlonge, hodewas, the Chyrchefyld', Brockhyll', the Newe Parke with all Kokeshotes in the same, except one which is set with Lechen hale; also half the parnage of the said park when it falles, with all manner of underwood growing on the same except oak, ashh, maple, crabtree and holly, together with all 'croppes and offall' of all manner of fallen timber during the said term; to hold for 20 years at the annual rent of 6 marks, 6 shillings and 8 pence [2 terms], the said Richard having the right of distraint for non-payment or arrears of the said rent a month after the said terms.
