Description

Lease for eight years with warranty from Henry Swon' to John Smyth' of Solyhull', smith, of 2 fields, one moor and a parcel of meadow land at Mounspathstrete, formerly belonging to Nicholas Swon'; to hold from the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary next [2 February] for eight years, for the annual rent of one flowering rose on Midsummer Day if demanded; the said Henry to perform all dues to the King and the chief lords of the fee upon the said lands, and the said John was to have the right to cut sufficient branches from the trees growing on the said lands to enclose the said lands during the said term.
