Description

Indenture dated 1st August 1855 between James Hitchcox of Barford miller of the 1st part, Henry Lurking of Snitterfield farmer of the 2nd part and John Lane of Stratford-upon-Avon gentleman of the 3rd part whereby the whole of the property described in DR 38/703 together with 3 newly erected cottages thereon in the occupations of William Hitchcox, Hannah Gardner and ???? Power, more particularly described in a map thereon endorsed were conveyed by James Hitchcox to Henry Lurking for £202. Signed James Hitchcox, Henry Lurking and John Lane. Common wax stamp seal. Witnessed by Thomas Reeves Hobbins, clerk to Mr. Lane and George Mann auctioneer. Together with duplicate plan. (see DR 38/621).
