Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 25th May 1839 between William Roberts of Snitterfield yeoman of the 1st part, Henry Smith of the same place gentleman of the 2nd part and Job Hobbins of Stratford-upon-Avon law stationer of the 3rd part whereby a cottage, garden etc. in The Green, Snitterfield adjoining a cottage belonging to Charles Thornett, and which cottage intended to be conveyed was in the occupation of William Roberts, was conveyed by William Roberts to Henry Smith for £28. Signed William Roberts and Henry Smith. Common red wax stamp seal. Witnessed by Thomas Umbers. Lease dated 24th May 1839 by William Roberts to Henry Smith of the same property for one year. Signed William Roberts. Sealed and witnessed as before.
