Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the release dated 8th January 1891 between Samuel Walton late of Sherlock Street, Birmingham but now of Carr's Lane, Birmingham porter of the 1st part, William Scruby of Snitterfield yeoman of the 2nd part and Thomas Stringer of Stratford-upon-Avon gentleman of the 3rd part whereby the property being a piece of land etc. containing 160 square yards secondly described in DR 38/728 was conveyed by Samuel Walton to William Scruby for £25. Signed Samuel Walton, William Scruby and James Stringer. Common wax stamp seal. Witnessed by Joseph Morris of the Saracen's Head, Bull Street, Birmingham and Henry Parry. Lease dated 7th January 1891 by Samuel Walton to William Scruby of the same property for one year. Signed Samuel Walton. Sealed as before. Witnessed by Joseph Morris.
