Description

Attested Copy Lease between John Reason the elder late of Fulbrook Park and then of Stratford-upon-Avon yeoman (only son and heir of John Reason late of Rowington yeoman deceased, who was the eldest son and heir of Job Reason theretofore of Claverdon yeoman likewise deceased) of one part and John Reason the younger of Shottery in the Parish of Old Stratford yeoman (only son and heir apparent of John Reason the elder) of the other part whereby John Reason the elder demised to John Reason the younger for one year , the premises described in DR 38/750 also all that messuage with barns etc. in a place called Spratts Pit together with 5 closes adjoining the last mentioned messuage called Home Closes containing 12 acres, also a close called Pinfolds Close containing 3 acres, all which last mentioned premises were situate in the Parish of Lapworth at a rent of one peppercorn. Witnessed by Charles H. Hunt, W. Penn and Samuel Oliver Hunt. Attested by Samuel Oliver Hunt and Thomas Attwood, clerks to Mr. Hunt.
