Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 9th September 1731 between Robert Welch of Grove Park, Budbrook gentleman (son and heir of Robert Welch late of the same place gentleman deceased) of one part and William Blick of Norton Lindsey yeoman (brother and heir of John Blick late of the same place yeoman deceased) of the other part. Reciting DR38/788, DR38/789 DR38/790, it was witnessed that in consideration of £120 paid by William Blick to Robert Welch with interest, he the said Robert Welch conveyed to William Blick the fee simple expectant upon the term of 2000 years described in DR 38/788 in the premises described in DR38/788. Signed Robert Welch. Seal crest a martlet, arms a lion rampant impaling a chevron between three scallops. Witnessed by Bartholomew Mason and John Court. Lease dated 8th September 1731 for one year by Robert Welch to William Blick of the same premises. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
