Description

Indenture between William Canning theretofore of Kington Grange but then of Sherborne yeoman, eldest son and heir at law of Richard Canning theretofore of Kington Grange yeoman deceased by Susannah his wife also deceased (who was sister and heir at law of William Blick formerly of Norton Lindsey yeoman deceased) and Mary the wife of the said William Canning theretofore Mary Ancorne of one part and William Russell of the Borough of Warwick draper of the other part whereby William Canning and Mary his wife in consideration of 10/- to them paid by William Russell covenanted with William Russell to levy a Fine during the Trinity Term of that year or within 12 months, of the property described in DR 38/788 for the purpose of barring dower and all estates tail and reversions or remainders expectant upon the estate of the said William Mary Canning and it was thereby declared and agreed that such Fine should enure to the such uses as William Canning should by deed inter vivos or by Will appoint, to the use of William Russell during the lifetime of William Canning in trust for William Canning and to preserve contingent remainders, remainder to the use of William Canning and his heirs for ever.
