Description

Indenture between Joseph Tarver of Norton Lindsey carpenter of one part and John Cook Canning and Samuel Canning both of Sherborne gentlemen of the other part whereby the premises described in DR 38/853 and herein described as 3 messuages or cottages with appurtenances with garden ground occupied therewith, all which cottages, gardens etc. contained 22 perches and then in the occupations of Joseph Tarver, John Sakes and John Hancock bounded on the East by the Norton Lindsey to Snitterfield road, on the South by land of Thomas Gibbs and on the other sides by land of Thomas Canning (note that this is the same land as described in DR 38/853 except that there are now 3 cottages instead of one cottage) were conveyed by Joseph Tarver to John Cook Canning and Samuel Canning in consideration of £175 to him paid by Messrs.
