Copy Indenture between the Reverend James davenport the elder of Stratford-upon-Avon D. D. of the 1st part, the Reverend James Davenport the younger of Snitterfield clerk, Harriet Davenport of Stratford-upon-Avon spinster, Charles Davenport of the same place esquire (three surviving children of James Davenport the elder by Margaret his late wife deceased theretofore Margaret Webb spinster) of the 2nd part and Thomas Webb Edge of Strelley, Nottinghamshire esquire and the Reverend Barlow Evetts of Strelley clerk (Trustees named in the Settlement made prior to the Marriage of James Davenport the elder with Margaret Webb aforesaid deceased) of the 3rd part, reciting the Marriage settlement of the said Margaret Webb and James Davenport the elder dated 10th February 1791 by which the persons of the 2nd part were entitled to certain shares of the trust fund, it was thereby witnessed that in consideration of £2000 paid to James Davenport the elder, by direction of the persons of the 2nd part, by the persons of the 3rd part, they the said persons of the 1st 2nd parts (i.e. James davenport the elder, James Davenport the younger, Harriet and Charles Davenport) released the said Thomas Webb Edge and the Reverend Barlow Evetts from all further obligations etc. reposed in them by the Deed of 10th February 1791.
