Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 1st May 1735 between Thomas Alyworth of Wellesbourne Mountford gentleman of one part and Thomas Stanton of Wolverton gentleman of the other part whereby Thomas Alyworth in consideration of £167 to him paid by Thomas Stanton conveyed to Thomas Stanton a messuage with barns, stable, crab mill thereto belonging and appurtenances, and all that little close adjoining reputed to be one quarter yard land with common of pasture for two cows, five sheep and one horse in the commonable fields of Wolverton late in the occupation of Daniel Welch otherwise Creed, and then of Thomas Stanton. Signed Thomas Aylworth. Seal obliterated. Witnessed by Mary Green, servant to Mr. Stanton, and Thomas Townsend. Lease dated 30th April 1735 for one year by Thomas Aylworth to Thomas Stanton of the same property. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
