Description

Attested Copy Indenture between Thomas Stanton (kinsman and devisee of Thomas Stanton late of Wolverton gentleman deceased) of London tanner of the 1st part, John Best citizen and barber surgeon of London of the 2nd aprt and Richard Mills of the Parish of St. Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, Surrey fellmonger of the 3rd part for barring of all estate tail and estates expectant when the same in the hereditaments described in DR 38/1028 and all other the hereditaments of Thomas Stanton party hereto, by virtue of the Will of Thomas Stanton deceased (see DR 38/1022), the said Thomas Stanton conveyed to Richard Mills, in consideration of 10/- paid by Richard Mills, the said hereditaments to make him Tenant for the purpose of suffering a Recovery of the said premises, John Best to be Demandant to the use of Thomas Stanton and his heirs for ever. Witnessed by John Aedman and Timothy Last. Inrolled in Chancery in the Court of Common Pleas Easter Term 6 Geo I. Attested 15th April 1766 by Theobald Walford, clerk to William Hunt, and Thomas Cleaver.
