Description

Attested Copy Indenture between Thomas Stanton (kinsman and devisee of Thomas Stanton late of Wolverton gentleman deceased) of London tanner of the 1st part, Thomas Reynoldson of the Parish of St. Olave's, Southwark, Surrey gentleman of the 2nd aprt and Thomas East of the same Parish gentleman of the 3rd part witnesses that for barring all estates tail and reversions expectant thereon etc. in the Manor of Wolverton with appurtenances ands the Advowson of the Church of Wolverton and several chief rents consisting of money, cocks and hens in Wolverton, Snitterfield, Warwick, Cottoned (Coton End), Sherbourne and Milverton, also all other hereditaments of Thomas Stanton deceased devised by Will dated 7th May 1715 (see DR 38/1022) and all other the hereditaments of Thomas Stanton party thereto. He the said Thomas Stanton bargained and sold the said hereditaments to Thomas East and his heirs to the intent upon trust that he should be Tenant in an action for Recovery to be heard before the end of Michaelmas Term then next, the said Thomas Reynoldson to be Demandant, such Recovery to enure to the use of Thomas Stanton and his heirs for ever. Witnessed by Timothy East and John Currierr. Inrolled in Common Pleas Michaelmas 4 Geo I Attested 15th April 1766 by Theobald Walford, clerk to William Hunt, and William Hicks
