Description

Quitclaim from Walter de Cherlecote of Thanewrthe to John son of John le Archer of the same of an annual rent of 4 pence and two iron horse-shoes customarily paid by John son of William Harding, and an annual rent of 2 pence and a clove of gilly flower customarily paid by Simon Tapping; and for this the said John gives 4 shillings. Witnesses: Richard de Fulwod', Walter Brun, William Warin, Richard de Coddebaruwe, William Brun, Roger Scil, Roger de Aspl' and others. Tag, seal lost. Endorsed: i) 3. In the thyrde role. ii) Of ys ys drawn iii) Carta Johannis le Archer filii Johannis facta per Walterum de Cherlecote de redditu etc. videlicet ut infra etc. Simon Tapyng reddendo per annum iid et Harding' Johannes filius Willelmi reddendo per annum iiiid et ii ferros equorum.
